Hello and a very warm welcome.
My name is Suzanne Thomson and for those who know me already, will not be surprised at all, to discover that I now run a messy, creative business for babies and children! I have worked with children and their families for over 20 years in a variety of roles. I am a mother of three grown-up children and a grandmother to two beautiful and energetic grandchildren.
After becoming a Registered Childminder when my children were very young, I became fascinated with the pre-school child! I became a volunteer for my local playgroup and nursery school, and that is where the fun began…! I developed and managed an Ofsted registered pre -school playgroup, created numerous groups whilst employed to work with families within Newcastle and North Tyneside Sure Start Children’s Centre areas. Over the years I have continually updated my qualifications including First Aid, Safeguarding and Special Needs.
After working in both the Charity and Public sector for over 15 years I finally took the plunge and set up Squiggles N Giggles. I would like to share,with you and your family, my knowledge, experience and expertise gained over the years, to introduce the magical world of child centred play.
