Q: Do I stay with my child at a Squiggles N Giggles session?

A: Yes you do.  As parents and carers you are fully responsible for the care and supervision of your child at all times during a session. Staff will be too busy making sure your child is having the best fun in the safest environment possible!

Q: What ages do you cater for and from what age?

A: As soon as your baby can sit up, they are ready to play!  Children up to the age of eight will enjoy their time at Squiggles N Giggles.  The age groups noted against the sessions are for guidance only.  It is the adult’s choice as to which session they believe is suitable for their child.

Q: Can I bring siblings?

A: No problem, but please note that some equipment and materials are not necessarily suitable for all age groups.  If you have tiny baby they are free to join their older brothers or sisters, but as soon as they are able to use the materials and get messy we will ask for a payment of £3.00 per session.  You can even buy a block booking for all siblings for just £16 for 6 sessions.

Q: What will happen if I buy a loyalty card and I can’t attend all sessions?

A: When you buy a loyalty card you have up to 2 months to attend 6 sessions.  We will book as many sessions as possible for you to ensure there is a place ready when you are. Due to the already superbly discounted rate, the costs of our overheads and the huge amount of preparation, refunds will not be available if you cannot attend the 6 sessions during the 2 month period.

Q: What will happen if Squiggles N Giggles cancel my session?

A: It is very important to keep us informed of all of your contact details so we can contact you in case we need to cancel a session.  Staff will endeavour to contact in good time to ease the disruption and, of course, the session’s fee will be returned or another session booked in its place.

Q: I want to come along on a ‘drop-in’ basis.  How can I be assured that there will be a place for my child?

A: It is very important that you contact us at least 1 day before your chosen session. We will book you onto the next available space if your first choice is too busy.The health and safety of your child is paramount and therefore spaces are limited. To make sure you have the sessions you want, please consider a loyalty card and book sessions well in advance. 

Q:  How do I pay for Squiggles N Giggles sessions?

A: You can pay by cash or cheque.  Please make cheques out to Squiggles N Giggles CIC.  Very shortly, we will be accepting Debit/Credit card payments for loyalty cards, parties and events via this website.  Watch this space!

Q: Are staff and volunteers qualified and what about health and safety?

A: Our staff are qualified in Early Years and have a vast wealth of experience and expertise working with babies and children from all backgrounds, abilities and cultures (please see About Us page). You can be assured that all staff and volunteers have gone through a rigorous recruitment and induction programme which includes a verified Enhanced CRB Certificate, Health & Safety in the Workplace, Safeguarding Children and First Aid.  Staff will be delighted to share with you our policies and procedures if you require further information.
